Gianni Iocchelli

I am the youngest of 6 children born to Italian immigrants. of the 6 kids, 3 of us are queer. I have always been involved in the queer community in one way or another . I was on the board of the first gay students group at u of a in 1985, I was the chair of the Gay and Lesbian Community Centre of Edmonton for almost 3 yrs, I did fundraisers for Aids Network Edmonton and Aids Calgary as well as Kids Help Phone and fYrefly and ARGRA, I have served on the boards of 9 Vocal Minority, Fairytales Film Festival, Apollo Friends in Sports Calgary and I'm the Founder of Gay Friends in Calgary...Queer initiatives are what define me.
