Jan is an original member of the Edmonton Pride Seniors Group (EPSG) serving since 2013.  She has been involved in many projects including the symposium advocacy support, education, the Housing Feasibility Committee and co-creating the Aging with Pride drop-in program during the Covid isolation period. Jan is currently serving as Treasurer.

Since retirement, Jan enjoys travelling, music events, playing Bridge, learning Spanish and playing the ukulele.
