Steven Krahn is a dynamic business development leader with a rich background in

education and senior living. Based in Alberta, Steven spent 20 years as a classroom

teacher in St. Albert, where he developed a deep commitment to communication,

mentorship, and community building—skills that now define his approach to business

development.

Currently serving as Alberta Manager of Business Development, Steven is known for

his strategic thinking, relationship-building expertise, and ability to drive meaningful

growth. In 2023, he was recognized with the prestigious President’s Club Award at

Chartwell Retirement Residences, celebrating his outstanding performance and impact

in the senior living sector.

Steven also plays a key role in community engagement through FitMinds, an 8-week

seminar series offered by Chartwell that focuses on staving off dementia and memory

loss. His facilitation of these sessions reflects his passion for cognitive health,

education, and improving quality of life for older adults.

Reporting to Amanda Richards and collaborating with senior leadership, including

Senior Vice President, Stefan Biasi, Steven brings a people-first mindset, a lifelong

learning ethos, and a collaborative spirit to every initiative. Whether presenting at
