UA survey –
Red Deer Gray Matters Conference -. Red Deer Seniors co hosted. 80 people from around the province attended. Michael spoke to the participants after the Sexual Health Centre presentation. It was well received.
Survey – Eric reported 113 surveys completed. Still accepting more until the end of November. Will be a Key Informant session on Nov 25 or 26. Ann will write the script. May involve network hubs. Thais discussed the Nov 30 Hope Gala at 10732- 119 Ave. Tickets $35
- Symposium Funding Request
Funding has been secured from Edmonton Seniors Coordinating Council. It is possible that ECF could top up.
- Symposium Planning
Budget – $9,600. Presentation of Paper, Guest Speaker, Lunch, Break out Sessions. More planning to come.
Dates & Location –possible to use SAGE, Unitarian Church, Chris Well’s space. Eric and Thais to review. Mickey discussed the use of the film Gensilent and the Metro Cinema and will check theatre availability.
Feb 24 is targeted symposium date with March 3 as an alternate.
Participants – Much discussion occurred with the range of symposium participants that will include working professionals to members of the senior pride community. Future planning can take place once more information is received.
Seniors Driving Test –
